Developed for client Johan, the app provides real-time data on various boat parameters such as battery status, position, temperature, and emergency alerts. Additionally, it allows users to maintain a digital journal of their boat trips, documenting them with pictures and text.

Johan approached Appecient with detailed Figma designs and a clear vision of the app’s functionality. The key challenges included:

Solution we Provided

1. Design and User Interface: The designs provided in Figma were translated into a sleek and intuitive user interface using Flutter. This ensured a consistent and responsive experience across both Android and iOS platforms.

3. Backend Development: Firebase Firestore was chosen for the backend to handle real-time updates from IoT sensors. Johan (Client) sent the data to Firebase through cloud functions, and Appecient structured this data to minimize API reads and writes, making the app cost-efficient and scalable.
4. IoT Sensor Integration: The app was designed to receive real-time data from IoT sensors in firebase and inside the app, providing users with up-to-date information on their boat’s battery status, position, temperature, and emergency alerts.
5. Journal Management: Users were given the ability to create and manage a digital journal of their boat trips, including uploading pictures and text, and organizing receipts and documents digitally.
